The Brick Development Association (BDA) is thrilled to announce that Jonathan Hall will once again serve as the Head Judge for the highly anticipated 2025 Brick Awards. Following a successful tenure in 2024, Jonathan's continued leadership promises another year of rigorous evaluation and celebration of excellence in brick architecture.
Jonathan, a founding director of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for architectural innovation to the judging panel. Established in 1989, AHMM is an internationally recognised, award-winning practice with offices in Clerkenwell, Bristol, and Oklahoma City.
Beyond his involvement in groundbreaking projects, Jonathan plays a pivotal role in managing design risk within AHMM. This includes spearheading the technical support team and overseeing the legal and appointments team – responsibilities that underscore his comprehensive understanding of architectural practice from concept to completion.
Jonathan's commitment to the wider architectural community is further demonstrated through his academic and professional engagements. He currently serves as an external examiner on the Professional Part 3 course at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, shaping the next generation of architects. Additionally, he is a director of the Wren Insurance, a mutual professional indemnity insurance company dedicated to serving architects, highlighting his deep involvement in the professional landscape.
The BDA looks forward to another inspiring year under Jonathan Hall's esteemed guidance, as the 2025 Brick Awards continue to set the benchmark for outstanding brick design and construction.
