About the project

Vistry Homes is one of the UK’s leading mixed-tenure housebuilders, delivering high-quality homes and sustainable communities through its distinctive Partnerships model. Operating nationally through a network of regional businesses, Vistry works collaboratively with housing associations, local authorities and institutional partners to deliver much-needed affordable and mixed-tenure housing across the UK. In 2025, the Group delivered 15,658 homes, including one in seven of the country’s affordable homes, reinforcing its position as a major contributor to addressing the UK housing shortage. The business continues to combine strong operational performance with a clear social purpose centred on quality, sustainability and long-term community value.

Quality assurance is embedded throughout the organisation and supported by rigorous construction management processes, comprehensive inspection regimes and a strong customer-focused culture. Vistry has maintained a five-star HBF customer satisfaction rating for seven consecutive years, demonstrating consistently high levels of customer experience across its developments. The business also achieved an NHBC Construction Quality Review score of 4.5 in 2025, alongside low NHBC reportable item rates of 0.24 per plot, reflecting a sustained focus on build quality, consistency and defect reduction. Standardised construction methodologies, enhanced governance procedures and increased investment in digital systems continue to strengthen quality assurance across the business while supporting improved visibility and accountability throughout the construction lifecycle.

Health, safety and environmental performance remain fundamental to Vistry’s operational culture. The Group operates a comprehensive Safety, Health and Environment framework supported by regular site inspections, targeted workforce training and strong leadership oversight at Board level. In 2025, the business carried out 3,397 internal SHE site inspections and delivered 359 SHE-related training courses and workshops to reinforce safe behaviours and improve competence across sites. Vistry achieved an Accident Incident Rate of 197 during the year, outperforming its internal target and demonstrating continued progress in reducing workplace risk. Alongside physical safety initiatives, the business continues to prioritise employee wellbeing and environmental responsibility through robust compliance processes, waste reduction measures and ongoing carbon reduction programmes.

Investment in people, apprenticeships and workforce development forms a central part of Vistry’s long-term strategy. The business employs approximately 4,400 people nationwide and continues to strengthen talent development through structured training programmes, leadership initiatives and apprenticeship opportunities across technical, construction and commercial disciplines. Employee engagement remains a key operational priority, with regular surveys and communication programmes helping to support collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Vistry’s focus on long-term workforce development is also helping to address wider industry skills shortages while creating clear progression opportunities for future construction professionals.

Alongside operational excellence, Vistry continues to deliver significant social and environmental value through its partnerships-led approach to development. The business is advancing ambitious sustainability targets, including the delivery of more than 1,100 zero carbon ready homes during 2025, while investing heavily in regeneration, affordable housing and community infrastructure. Through collaborative working, responsible governance and a strong commitment to quality, safety and sustainability, Vistry Homes continues to demonstrate leadership within the UK housebuilding sector.
