Compliance and safety are the foundation of our work with innovation and craftmanship as our trademark. Aside from our robust quality management, ISO accreditations and exceptional safety record, we review our procedures through our detailed performance tracker to remain on target in all KPIs, and to meet industry standards and health and safety protocols.

Each year our full team review involves every employee. We reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and where we can improve. This is more than a formality and genuinely guides our business from strength to strength. In fact, every suggestion raised in January 2025 was implemented within a month, including the introduction of new safety tools and training updates.

Our innovative QR Code system has been particularly successful in providing our site teams with instant, 24/7 access to installation guides, approved details, manufacturer specifications and building regulations. There is instant access to specifications and approved methods for all products used on site, up-to-date reference materials, safety protocols, procedures and compliance requirements, a Site Suggestion tool to report ideas/problems direct to head office, and 24/7 access to mental health information and contact details to ensure staff always have support when needed. We recently integrated What3Words for precise site location for deliveries and emergency vehicles if needed.

The QR Code has also benefited clients, improves communication and eradicates delays across all sites as it negates the need to raise queries regarding compliance as work can be validated instantly.

We are proud to have developed a training matrix that supports every role in the business, with each member of our team engaged in a training programme currently. This includes everything from NVQ Level 2 bricklayers to Level 6 project managers. All site teams undergo role-specific training well ahead of project mobilisation, with particular focus on Golden Thread readiness and Building Safety Act compliance.

Trend analysis from inspection data feeds directly into live training which enables us to act fast when patterns emerge. Our accident frequency rate dropped in 2024, and remains there into 2025.

We actively promote from within and have employed at least 70% of our apprentice team in the last 12 months; one is a QA Manager and the other in project management. While we might not have the largest apprenticeship programme (12 on roll), our success rate and progression pathway is evident and strong.
