“A fantastic example of clay brick work and traditional bricklaying skill a real joy to see. A great example of craftsmanship achieved using clay brick.”
With a design that was inspired by the Sloane Stable Block in the neighbouring Royal Hospital, the arches are a sleek contemporary take that anchors the development resolutely in the 21st century. The brickwork is also a ‘tour de force’ of technical performance and design precision, a testimony that traditional masonry skills are very much still alive.
