A project which has not only restored but also reordered a house built in 1965.  The original house had been neglected and was suffering from the subsidence and the rotting of timber fittings and cladding.  The refurbishment has tackled both house and garden and has proved that it is possible to revive even the seemingly hopeless case.  The judges admired the spirit behind this project and the successful outcome and awarded it the prize.
