Rebuilding of West Elevation, St Pancras Station, London

Architect: Rail Link Engineering
Brickwork contractor: Irvine Whitlock
Brick: Bulmer Brick & Tile Soft Reds/Charnwood Forest Non-standard Imperial Facing Bricks

Craftsmanship of the very highest order was how the judges described the rebuilt west elevation that features 45 large span arches built on-site with fine 2mm lime putty joints. They were also impressed by the true vertical perpends of the 5mm mortar cross joints and the extreme precision at the interface of moulded stone and red rubber bricks.
