Stephanie Palmer, Wienerberger, to speak at new architecture event
Stephanie Palmer, Sustainability Manager at Wienerberger, the world’s largest brick manufacturer, will appear as a guest speaker at the Brick Development Association’s latest CPD event on Tuesday 6th June 2017 at the Museum of Science & Industry Manchester. Stephanie will discuss clay brick’s role in the circular economy and highlight the understated credentials of brick as a sustainable construction material.
Stephanie has helped to develop the BDA’s vision for a circular economy in the built environment, complementing her role on several industry committees dedicated to addressing resource efficiency challenges within brick and roof tile manufacturing. At Wienerberger she supports multiple departments to embed environmental best practice and social responsibility in the company’s activities, consolidating its industry-leading sustainability agenda.
The presentation will complement the programme of workshops and seminars that explore the modern methods employed by brick manufacturers, those that work with the material, and the understated contribution that clay brick makes to our built environment.
Stephanie Palmer comments,
