Alex Gordon of Jestico + Whiles to judge Brick Awards 2017
Since joining Jestico + Whiles, Alex has been responsible for the design and delivery of a number of their award-winning projects across the cultural, education, residential, and hospitality sectors. These include Stoke Newington School, Clapton Girls’ Academy, Cardinal Pole Catholic School, Gray’s Inn Buildings and the iconic W Hotel, Leicester Square.
“I am thrilled to have been asked by the Association to be part of the judging panel for the Brick Awards again this year. It is always an honour to be involved in assessing these highly respected and long-running awards.”
Alex will be joining head judge, Joe Morris of Duggan Morris, and Jonathan Dawes of Cottrell & Vermeulen on the judging panel.
The Brick Awards 2017 ceremony will be held at the Hilton, Park Lane, London on Thursday 9th November 2017. Project entries for this highly-anticipated event will close on 9th June 2017.
This year’s ceremony will present Brick Awards in fifteen categories, celebrating the use of clay brick in education, commercial and housing to name but a few, in addition to acknowledging exceptional technical prowess in brickwork.
